Paddle Sessions

WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY EVENING CLUB SESSIONS

WEDNESDAYS

On Wednesday evenings we meet at Hunston at the southern end of Chichester Canal at 6.30 pm. You can hire a boat/paddle/buoyancy aid package for the session. During the winter months, we meet at the basin end of the canal, but there is no boat hire available.

FRIDAYS

The summer programme is centred around meeting on Friday evenings between 5-6pm (tide times determine the actual time) and launch 30 minutes later once kit & craft are set-up. We meet at either Dell Quay Sailing Club if tides are good or alternatively Chichester Canal at Hunston.

We also run training sessions to increase and maintain paddle fitness.

As a club we enjoy paddling all year round, the only difference is that we may need to increase the number of layers we wear!

POOL SESSIONS

In the winter months, we head over to Horizon Leisure Centre in Havant for indoor paddling sessions in their swimming pool.

The pool provides a lovely warm environment where people can practice rescues, support stokes, rolling and other skills. Our experienced coaches are at hand to answer any questions you have, and we sometimes even have time for a friendly game of water polo! There are additional charges for the pool sessions.
